Season 2 is on the way! The Duchess of Sussex shared on Instagram Friday that With Love, Meghan will be returning for a second installment (with some outlets reporting it has already been shot).

It’s quite the clapback to the onslaught of criticism the show has faced since its debut. I will be the first to admit that what Meghan is doing is not for everyone. Some things I loved, others not so much. But if you step back and consider the amount of negativity directed at the duchess, it is staggering — and revealing.

“The vitriol leveled at Meghan is entirely disproportionate to who she is as a person,” British journalist Bryony Gordon said this week on Lorraine, a popular UK morning show. “She’s not Vladimir Putin. She’s just a mum from California who quite likes making her own bath salts. I think it says far more about us, and the state of the world, than it does about her.”

As a counterpoint to the very heated, click-baity conversations happening on both sides of the pond, I offer up our corner of the internet.
