Also, if anyone has recommendations for shoe options to wear around Paris this summer, please let me know! I was thinking my Stan Smiths but would like other options, like a sandal? Looking at these for inspiration!
I recommend a shoe that is both comfortable and fully supportive. Many streets and sidewalks have cracks and places one might trip. If you are like me, you will do a lot of walking in Paris, so the best walking shoes would be my recommendation, such as ecco and Dansko. I would save the beautiful shoes for short trips to dinner in an Uber.
I can wear the classic Tory Burch Miller sandal for hours in my retail job! It has a little padding (I can no longer do sandals without padding) and she now does a cloud version as well. I usually pick up a fresh black patent pair every other year because I've worn the sole down so much, and the alternate years pick up whatever color goes on sale (I have a cherry red patent, nude patent, grey leather and snake).
I bought these Sanuk sandals in tan, and loved them so much I ordered them in black, too. They are insanely comfortable, and the price (still on sale) is great. I plan on wearing them during our trip to London this summer, so they could work well for walking around Paris, too. (I also love my Nisolo huaraches, but these are more supportive.)
I love my birks for going to the pool, running errands etc. i also have a pair of platform sandals that I love to wear to elevate shorts or with a sundress!

My Nisolo clogs are so freaking uncomfortable. Expensive so I’m sad… I’m looking for some kind of platform, metallic sandal.
