Introducing One Quick Thought

Or 1QT for short. Think of it as SMT’s little sister!

Hello! Popping into your inboxes today to let you know about the launch of One Quick Thought, or 1QT for short (we love an abbreviation here at SMT 🙃). This is the new home for my recommendations, a place to share where I’m shopping as well as what I’m reading, listening to, and watching.

The backstory: I used to list these suggestions at the bottom of some newsletters, but they always felt a little lost down there tbqh! I’ll continue to do style-focused emails (like this one on shopping The Crown) but I wanted to carve out a spot for daily quick picks on my website.

I hope you’ll bookmark One Quick Thought and think of it like your favorite group chat thread of shopping finds, LOL-worthy memes, must-reads, and more. (Plus, it’s an easier way to save and sort links that might get lost with everything else I share here and on Instagram.) Recent 1QT posts include my favorite serum, the EIC I love to follow, and a juicy read on exes. New thoughts posted daily!

My plan is to sprinkle in questions, too, to get YOUR thoughts. Y’all have the best ideas. The comments on today’s post, asking for your luggage recs, are filled with useful tips. Scroll down and weigh in!
