Friends, this has been a week of much grief. I spent last weekend back home in the midwest to say goodbye to my cousin, who passed away at the age of just 47. This week, I have been immersed in the horrific news of the Israel-Hamas War. My heart aches for all those affected, most especially the families of the Israeli and Palestinian victims.
