How fun was it to see Meghan out and about again at this year’s Invictus Games? The Duchess of Sussex joined Prince Harry in Düsseldorf for the second half of the competition week.
Over five days, Meghan wore 10 looks ranging from a romper and slides to a strapless gown and heels. So much of this felt like a return to her pre-royal style, with an embrace of easy tailoring and relaxed layers. I particularly appreciated the duchess’s embrace of more accessibly-priced fashion, expanding beyond the luxury pieces we’ve seen of late into a more mid-range styles. She completed most looks with versatile, high-end accessories — so relatable, no? Many of the outfits Meghan wore included past-season pieces, suggesting she shopped her closet quite a bit for this trip, too.
Below are my so many thoughts (aka SMTs) on each look, with links to in-season items where I could find them. There is also one SMT here — the denim dress — that I have not shared to Instagram. Thank you for your support!
