Everything You Need to Know About the King’s ‘Scottish Coronation’

You read that right! There’s another crown moment for Charles this week.

Two months after an ornate coronation at Westminster Abbey, King Charles III will be presented with another crown this week, this time in Scotland. I’ll admit I was surprised to hear of this reprise of sorts, complete with a pair of processions, an hour-long service and a RAF flypast — it all sounds quite a bit like what we just saw! There are even Scottish Crown Jewels, known as the Honours of Scotland.

So what’s happening and who will be attending? And what will everyone wear? I figured we could all use a bit of a primer, which you’ll find below.
